Arjun Mediratta

Arjun is a Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in complex and high-value real estate disputes across both commercial and residential sectors.

He began his career at a boutique firm in Manchester, where he advised multinational fast fashion groups, regional supermarket chains, wholesalers and prominent retailers. This early exposure to business-critical disputes shaped a commercially focused approach to litigation from the outset.

Arjun later co-led the property litigation practice at a leading Legal 500, Spears ranked West End firm, overseeing a diverse caseload of contentious property matters. He acted for institutional landlords, high net worth individuals, and senior executives on a wide range of issues, including possession proceedings, service charge disputes, lease extensions, forfeiture claims, and contested lease renewals. His work also encompassed contractual disputes, debt recovery, and corporate insolvency.

Subsequently, Arjun was appointed Legal Counsel to the UK’s largest freehold asset management company. In this role, he advised on the legal management of a substantial national property portfolio, providing strategic input on litigation risk, regulatory compliance, and building safety, particularly in response to evolving legislation in the post-Grenfell landscape.

He is known for delivering clear, pragmatic and commercially astute advice, particularly in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments.
